About Scottsbluff, NE
Population Scottsbluff: 15,039

Fremont Motor Scottsbluff is the only Fremont dealership outside of Wyoming. The leap across the border was an easy one. Scottsbluff shares many of the attributes that make Wyoming our chosen home. The people are friendly and the lifestyle is easygoing. The town is the cultural hub of Nebraska’s western panhandle. The region is known primarily for its agriculture, which generates more than $1 billion in annual gross sales. Cattle is the dominant industry, with livestock accounting for two-thirds of the area’s agricultural sales.
Ranchers raise more than 250,000 head and finish 700,000 more at the region’s feedlots. In addition to corn, alfalfa, sugar beets, and beans are important crops. Nebraska is one of America’s most rural states, and the people who live here tend to be self-reliant, hard workers. They take care of their neighbors and are proud of their family values. The town has restaurants, movies, performing arts, seasonal festivals, and a community college (Western Nebraska Community College). The college offers continuing education opportunities for all ages. Downtown has been renovated, and its shopping district has a number of quaint specialty shops and outstanding restaurants.
