Whether you are a car enthusiast, owner or not, you can participate in the several car shows coming up soon in Casper. Over the memorial day weekend, Cruisin’ with the Oldies car club will have shows all across town. Here’s the rundown on Memorial weekend car shows in Casper.
At 6001 E 2nd St. Open to all years of import and import tuner cars. (An Import car being defined as one one that is from a manufacturer not from the U.S.). No registration needed, just show up (pun intended), get your number and park up. There will be 9 awards for Show and Shine, a people’s choice award, and a bodyshop pick. Free entry. Awards will be around 2pm.
At 6101 E 2nd Street. Open to all years of Mopar vehicles. Vote for your favorite Mopar vehicle or enter in the show and shine competition. Last year there were over 60 vehicles! Awards will be at 3pm. Registration at 9am at the Fremont dodge store. It’s free to enter and upon registration, a goody packet with t-shirt and hat will be handed out. Rodeo Rick will be announcing the show. There will also be giveaways, with ticket drawings. 1st and 2nd place awards will be given for show and shine, categories are;
There will also be a people’s choice award and bodyshop pick. Food will be available on site.

8:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Registration at the Parkway Plaza Hotel, 123 W “E” St, Casper, WY –Note: Registration closes at 4:00 PM – NO NEW REGISTRATIONS on SUNDAY
8:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Donut Derelict Cruise – Take a short cruise and enjoy some donuts and coffee at destination. Leave from Parkway Plaza Hotel
11:00 AM to 4:00 PM – Old Yellowstone District Cruise-In at 355 W. Yellowstone and along Elm St to Midwest Ave – Hosted by Yellowstone Garage and other Merchants. An informal downtown cruise-in to be enjoyed by everyone that are car enthusiasts.
3:00 – PM – Cruise for Cash. Check at registration of starting point with five stops where entry numbers are drawn for cash awards. Last cash award will be drawn at the Ice Cream Social.
7:00 PM – (tentative) Ice Cream Social – back at the Parkway Plaza, hosted by Gail Zimmerman.
The main event takes place at the Fairgrounds and all vehicle types are welcome, including but not limited to; rat rods, street rods, classics and muscle cars. There will be a swap Meet and car Corral. Show and Shine starts at 9 am. There will be valve cover racers from 11am-2pm, along with raffle drawings, cash awards, and giveaways. Show and Shine awards will be at 3pm.and held Indoors at Hall of Champions if the weather is bad.

Camp Jeep is an off-road driving course set up inside at auto shows throughout the country. Several off-road-like obstacles are set up for people to experience the vehicle’s capabilities in a safe environment. We were lucky enough to get a few trips around the course at the 2017 Denver Auto Show.
