So you make vehicles with 4 cylinder engines that fit just perfect under the hood, but you want to put in a 6 cylinder engine that fits into the same space. What do you do? 6 cylinder engines are much bigger and you don’t want to have to completely redesign and engineer a new car too. A vee (like a V6) engine takes up too much room and so would a straight 6.

I had the luxury (pun intended) of my first ever press loan vehicle being an AWD Lexus LX570. Although I was very excited, I knew this was going to be tough to write about the 2017 Lincoln Navigator Vs 2017 Lexus LX 570. The Lexus I had comes in priced at just over $97k. So I keep asking myself, is this SUV really worth almost 100 grand. What other vehicles can be compared? Well technically a Lincoln Navigator is in the same class, it’s a luxury vehicle, it’s an SUV, and it has a third row.

Having worked in the automotive industry in both the United Kingdom and the United States, it always surprised me when I heard people complaining that it took all day to purchase a vehicle. That’s right, a day. In the U.K. the quickest you will get your new vehicle from a dealer is 3 days assuming everything runs like clockwork. That is also IF the vehicle you’re purchasing is already on the lot.

If you drive past a Dodge dealership or even visit a dealership, you might notice a rather colorful palette of vehicles. It’s not the usual sea of boring depressing ‘safe’ vehicle colors like gray, black, silver and white. Red is about as exciting and daring you would normally see on a lot. Well not anymore. Dodge are being the brave manufacturer to bring out some happy/daring colors. It definitely brightens up the place that’s for sure.
