Driving the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Carbon 65 Edition
Every once in a while, I get to drive and test out a bunch of new vehicles before they hit the market. I was fortunate enough to get to drive the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Carbon 65, a special edition released by Chevy to commemorate 65 years of Corvette.
Updated: 10/10/2019. RAM Harvest Edition now available in Chassis Cab.
Farmers and colors
Do you know a farmer? Chances are, if you live in Wyoming, you probably do or you are a farmer. You probably also know, that farmers are very proud of the color of their tractor. Are you a farmer that brags about the color of your equipment? Not the case? (pun intended) I don’t believe you because I drive past your ranch, and there they are, the tractor, the swather, and baler, all the same color. What color is your barn again?
Is this Toyota finally coming out of its shell? Having previously worked at a Toyota dealership many moons ago, I often heard people describe Toyota’s as boring but reliable. Well, how about now you can have not-boring-at-all and reliable. The C-HR is such a funky fun car. Yes, Toyota might be late on the arrival of a quirky fun car but nevertheless, it’s here, and look at it. It’s far from a bland Corolla that maybe your grandma had back in the day. This crossover looks right at home in the mountains with angles all over the place.
Large SUVs are very popular, but which one is safer?
Safety: Yukon Vs Expedition Vs Tahoe
According to carsalesbase.com, the large SUV segment is, “…the fastest growing mainstream segment in the US with an increase of 11%…”. They are just too practical if you have more than one child, need a lot of cargo space or need to sit 7 or 8 people in relative comfort. What about safety though, does bigger mean better and which one is the safest? The GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe are virtually the same under the skin of base models and both have the 5.3L V8. The only exception to this is the Yukon Denali. Denali’s have the 6.2 liter V8.
