What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a technology that uses short range radio waves to connect devices. Usually a cell phone to a computer. In this case we are talking about connecting a cell phone to a truck, so you can make/answer calls without touching your phone. Connecting the devices for initial set-up is called pairing.
Bluetooth has been around in Ram trucks from about 2004 depending on the trim level.1. It does, however, seem to be one of the most frustrating technologies to set up for some people. It does require a little patience, but once it’s set-up you probably won’t need to ever set it up again (unless of course you disconnect).
