Toyota Reveals All-New 2022 AWD Corolla Cross

2022 Toyota Corolla Cross

Meet the new AWD Corolla Cross. For over 50-years, the Toyota Corolla has been a staple in the world of cars as a small front-wheel-drive sedan or hatchback, and that’s about to change.

For the 2022 model year, (fall this year) Corolla Cross comes to the market as a small SUV available, for the first time in all-wheel drive (AWD).

Standard features across the lineup include a rear spoiler, some LED lighting, a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Trim levels on the 2022 AWD Corolla Cross are; L, LE and XLE.

Engine and Fuel Economy

Powering the new 2022 AWD Corolla Cross is a 2.0-liter engine and CVT transmission. Fuel economy estimates are around 30 mpg combined for AWD models. Dynamic Torque Control distributes power when needed for traction, or turns it off completely to assist in better fuel economy.
