Back in the day, a truck was a truck. It was meant for work and perhaps the most luxurious part of one was the RAM ornament on the front of the hood. Not now. The luxury segment in the truck world is getting more and more popular. RAM Trucks said that “More than 40 percent of the Ram 3500 Heavy Duty sales mix is in one of the brand’s three luxury trims”. Those three trim packages being the Laramie, Laramie Longhorn and Limited. Now they have introduced the Tungsten Edition.
The Tungsten Edition will be the new top of line luxury truck from RAM. The truck will be based on the ‘Limited’ trim level with added features, and styling differences. The ‘Limited’ only comes with black leather. The Tungsten Edition seats will be, “Natura Plus” premium leather, the same material as the ‘Limited’ but in ‘Frost’ and ‘Indigo-hue’ colors. Genuine wood trim will also be present throughout the interior. Yes, other trucks have that too but an industry first in the truck segment that makes the Tungsten Edition stand out is a suede headliner.
