Ford Raptor Assault Program

Ford has set up a complimentary driving course for 2017 Raptor owners, where the course teaches and enhanced off-road driving skills from rock-climbing to extreme Baja and desert driving.

Whether you are a beginner or expert, the course is structured to showcase what the Raptor Assault course can do and take your driving to the next level. Not everybody knows how to get the best out of their 450hp twin-turbo truck and this presents the perfect opportunity to do just that.

The training takes place at The Ford Performance Racing School based in Utah. The Motorsports Campus is a state-of-the-art facility with various tracks and terrains. Initial 2017 Raptor Customers are offered the course for free in a safe environment to learn. “A deep dive in the classroom will explore Raptor’s industry-leading features, followed by extensive course time exploiting its capabilities over challenging desert terrain.

Rock crawling, Baja runs, high-speed driving, side-hilling, descending, and braking are featured, with a focus on Raptor dynamics including its six driving modes. The goal is for F-150 Raptor owners to understand the performance capabilities of their new trucks and help these customers  improve on their driving skills – all while having fun.” 1

No need to worry about bringing your own vehicle, the school provides the Raptors. The facility is 25 miles from Salt Lake in Grantsville.  Flights are available from Casper to Salt Lake for around $450 according to Kayak. 2  and there is also the option of a second day driving a Ford Mustang GT at an extra cost.
