AWD Dodge Challenger GT
Arriving in dealerships soon (first quarter of 2017) will be the world’s first AWD muscle car coupe. Now a muscle car can be for all year round and not just for the few months of summer we get here in the West. Our first one at the Casper store just arrived yesterday!
“The winter driving capability of the new Challenger GT had to be shown in a way that only Dodge can do,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, FCA – Global. “Bringing together the power and performance of the world’s first all-wheel-drive muscle coupe, a daunting Alaskan landscape and an adrenaline-filled soundtrack is what makes this ad so special.” 1
Features:
- 3.6 liter Pentastar V-6 engine as standard
- 305 hp at 6,350 rpm
- 268 lb-ft torque at 4,800 rpm
- AWD with active transfer case
- Front axle disconnect
- Tuned induction system
- Dual exhaust
- Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
- Paddle Shifters and Sport Mode
- LED Halo headlamps and LED tail lamps
There will also be an 8.4″ touch screen with driver information available such as gear selection, G-force indication, lap times, reaction times and 0-60 times. The launch control button will help with those reaction times if your feeling a little slow before your morning coffee.
“The new Challenger GT model also features three-mode ESC with “full-off” mode, a fun feature for drifting through snowy scenes” 2
Whilst your busy drifting through the snow, you can be listening to your favorite tunes through the six Alpine speakers with a 276-watt amplifier. Not loud enough? The GT Interior package boasts nine Alpine speakers and a 506-watt amplifier, oh and a performance steering wheel. MSRP for the GT Interior package is $995. “New 2017 Dodge Challenger GT model has a starting U.S Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $33,395 (excluding $1,095 destination charge)” 2
Now you can have fun in an AWD muscle car. What do you think?
